I get your point, Brother. But I have to take issue with the notion that, "people...are just tired of seeing his name and face pop up," on a thread that is intentionally dedicated to that specific purpose.(re-read the title?) I'm not twisting anyone's arm, to watch every segment. My complaint, is only that NO ONE HAS COMMENTED ON ANY OF THEM, BEYOND THE FIRST ONE!

Actually both cents and nickels are marginal ... in terms of face value vs metal value.  But it is illegal to melt them down, since they are government property (as is the paper currency and the official digital currency (but not Bit Coin etc).  With the general monetizing of everything in the economy since 2000, it is hard to tell what is money and what is not money.

We could use government issued debit cards ... for most purchases.  In fact, we do use bank issued debit cards and credit cards and the banks are like a 4th branch of government.  It is hard to limit all transactions to money, and have all money be digital ... in practical terms.  There is no separation between politics and economics ... all money is government money (except for Bit Coin etc) either directly or indirectly.  It is the intention to let Bit Coin etc experiment for awhile, before the government take it over, just as the government did with private issue paper money (private bank notes) during the US Civil War.

What will wipe out existing coins already happened in other countries, for example in Israel in the 1970s.  After the Yom Kippur War, Israel was bankrupt.  They simply replaced all notes X with 10X notes, with the same designs.  All the coins had to be pulled in, and new coins issued to replace them.  When the US goes bankrupt (due to mismanagement) something similar will happen here.  I am not sure that pure digital money will ever be OK with the American public, since we know that nothing the government does, is trustworthy.

This IS a valid point. I confess, I DON'T HAVE A FUCKING LIFE AT ALL! At least not one anyone would want to trade-me for. For the last 4 months, I have been awake, for 22 hours-a-day, on average, not counting the seven days in which I had only one hour of sleep, out of..what...168, I guess? To try to explain...I just now woke from about a one-hour nap, and just like every morning, I feel so off-the-scale miserable, that it is hard to put into words. It's not exactly pain-throughout-my-whole-body, and it's not exactly fatigue, although it is similar to both, and unlike either. SHIT! WHY DO I FEEL WORSE AFTER I SLEEP?

So I guess, I am using comedy to try and sooth my symptoms, since I can't find a cure, for the actual problem.
