Behavior of Scientologists and Liberals Eerily Similar
QuoteDisconnection in Scientology is described as the organization directing members to sever all ties with family members and friends who dare criticize practices of the Church of Scientology and its dogmas, leaders, and beliefs.  Labeled "suppressive persons," these enemies of the church are isolated from their social network, labeled in public as hateful, and when the dogmas of Scientology are rejected or criticized, they're ultimately "disconnected."  "Suppressive persons" are dehumanized, categorized as evil, hateful, destructive, and the source of history's most catastrophic events.

Sound familiar?

Marching in rank with L. Ron Hubbard's guidance, liberals are now demanding that everyone within their bubble of experience disconnect from individuals who would dare question their ideology.  "Suppressive persons" to the new left can easily be named: Ann Coulter, Gavin McInnes, Ben Shapiro, Milo Yiannopolous, etc.  Basically, if you've ever been invited to give a talk at a university and someone pulled the fire alarm, you're probably on their list.

Resistance to opposing points of view is carried out in a number of ways: name-calling and dehumanization (Nazi, Hitler, racist, sexist, Islamophobe), lighting things on fire, pulling fire alarms, blocking streets, etc.  Jeremy Scahill's recent tantrum represents yet another tactic: outright refusal to participate in discussion with people their cult of social Marxism has identified as their version of "suppressive persons."  Invited to participate on Real Time with Bill Maher, Scahill canceled his participation on the show when he found out he would be appearing with the hyper-labeled Milo Yiannopoulos.

All of the key tactics are there.  Milo is dehumanized as hateful, "openly … racist," "anti-immigrant," transphobic, etc.  None of this is true, of course, and examples are lacking due to this absence of evidence.  The attack and "disconnection" in this case, however, are meant not to affect the taping of the show, but to again smear Milo and publically identify him as a form of "suppressive person" using the same strategies dictated by Hubbard.

Also the left never reads or believes any "alternative" media in case they corrupt their pristine minds with heresy.
Pretty much the manifestation of a "religious zeal" where the ideology is holding the man, rather the man holding the ideology.

Some of the cult members

I think they have a solid case to sue the university for the refund of their education costs.

It sounds like the Right to me.

I doesn't take a movement to pull a fire alarm.  It's usually done by one anonymous guy.  Blaming an entire group is OK though, as long as it's politically correct from the Right's point of view.

This is a new one on me.  I've heard the Right refer to Obama as "Hitler, Bill Clinton as a "pussy grabber", but the left as L Ron Hubbard?  WTF??  It's like the Right has run out of  dirty names to call people.

But the Right does, because they want to be fair and balanced.

When money and power are at stake, people are going to die.  That is coming soon.  Homicidal apes never change.

And yes, Scientology, liberal dogma and ... all the rest of culture are made up woo.  It isn't just religion.  All of literature is fan fiction ... and all human action is people acting out their fan fiction.  I bet there are teenagers in a van some place, with a big dog, looking for spooks, because they love Scooby Do.  Cosplay, but for real.  Larping thru history.

That was beautiful Baruch. Its something that seems to get glossed over on this site a lot, and I wish more would take two steps back. In human culture, groups are formed around ideas and ideals, and while ones like republican and religious are often negative against the everyday people, this doesn't exclude far leftist ideals in how they have been acting as of late.

Yes, I think differently from the "liberals".
But I don't need to work on it.

Here is something you will have to reconcile with some day.

10s of millions of Americans, and even more around the world who do not want the left rule their lives any more.
The utopia the lefts are planning is guaranteed to turn out to be a disaster.

Globalization, socialism will not benefit you. Only the selected rich. I recommend you learn about the USSR.
You will remain a prole. (reference to 1984).

That is why Trump was voted for in America.

Projection is everyone's favorite modus operandi ;-)

A comparison ... so would a Germany taken over by Bolsheviks in 1933 been better than a Germany taken over by Nazis in 1933?  Probably not.  That is what Pr126 sees in present day EU/Democrat socialism.  I repudiate both Stalinists and Nazis.  I think Pr126 would agree.  But socialism itself hasn't been defeated, just the Soviet version.  Socialism still remains a cancer on society (for some ideologues anyway).  I would support an FDR/Truman/Eisenhower socialism ... but we can't have that.

Yes, if VP Henry Wallace had been retained, instead of dumped to appease the Republicans ... then when FDR was eased into death to save Germany ... VP Harry Truman wouldn't have been there to appease Churchill (who was worried FDR was too close to Stalin), work with Churchill at Potsdam and follow Churchill's lead on the Cold War (at a speech in Truman's home town after the war).  Of course, this is assuming that staying cozy with Stalin after WW II, was a good idea.  General Patton wanted to declare war on Communism, not a Cold War ... and finish what Churchill had started in 1917.  General McArthur and General Patton would have made an interesting combination of giant egos ;-(  Did you know that American troops were already in Soviet Russia in 1918, in Archangel?
