I find the whole thing amusing! Politics is a filthy business, yet people are still outraged when it turns out not to be squeaky clean. A Hillary administration would have been sinking under its own dirt, too! So, Trump's people were cutting to the chase by talking to Putin's people - big deal! So, what?  It's not like Putin would not not have talked to Hillary had she won the election. Russia is on the rise again, and the US needs to see that and recognize it and cooperate w/Russia. We have a lot of common interests w/the Russians. It's a good thing.
