I thought you liberals don't believe in evil.  That every thing you dislike is caused by "lesser good" ... your own flavor of "good" being the superior kind ... natch.

Evil does exist though, it's in the eyes of every child when they want a milky bar, or the tomatoes rotting at the bottom of your salad shelf. It's in the springtime flowers when they attract bees only get them covered in pollen, or the extended edition re-release of total recall.

Nah. We believe in evil.

I accept that some people are just downright mean evil and hateful.  I just don't assign the cause to some deity.

I am seething with anger at this report.

Taiwanese citizens will be subject to "extreme vetting" (including being quizzed on ideology and asked for passwords). Taiwan. One of the most America-friendly countries on the planet, where terrorism is zero.

Quizzed on ideology to enter the country? ("Do you support Trump?" "No." "Back on the plane with you.") Even fucking North Korea doesn't do that.

To Trump and anyone who supports him: FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU to the power of infinity.

Atheon ... gave your last post a like, because I care, not because I agree with the particular policy.  Hope things are all well with you.  Thanks to putting all law enforcement in the hands of the IRS, you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent.  We are all Al Capone now.  So where were you, Nov 22, 1963 ... and can you prove it.

I know what medical care costs, my mother is in a nursing home.  Neither Germany nor the tax payer nor the Federal Reserve is paying for it.  But of course in socialist land, someone is paying for it in other countries ... who?  Where does the money come from?  I am talking to you, Canada ;-)

Obviously the money comes from the taxpayer.   Because it's a service everyone needs.   It's also a service that everyone needs everyone else to have too.

Obviously the money comes from the taxpayer.   Because it's a service everyone needs.   It's also a service that everyone needs everyone else to have too.

But if the average citizen only generates $400 worth of actual product/service per year, it will be hard to pay for that $4000 per year medical cost.  What is the actual output of Americans etc?  Nobody knows, because your dollar/pound measuring stick, is rubber.  Also the balance sheet is completely corrupted, so that the debits and credits are not credible.  This is a problem with a non-tribal society.  If you are in my tribe, I am obligated to take care of you (and beat you if you a lazy).  In a nation, there is no tribal obligation.  And of course with class, even if we are in the same tribe, the tribal elders think they are the only one's who deserve support.

And no, money gets cycled thru the taxpayer, but they aren't the one's who create it.  The government creates it (as is necessary when we went to a monetary economy).  The Pharaoh didn't need money, he was a god-man, and could get you to give him the agricultural surplus, and then employ that food to feed the labor surplus, to move big stones around.  Nothing has changed in 4500 years ... except money makes it much easier to run an economy.  The amount of money you have, or make per year, is a measure of your value.  No money, no value.  Hence poor people deserve poverty.

Despite everything, the idiots still aren't reading the writing on the wall.  Trump wasn't joking when he said he could shoot someone and not lose support.

Atheon has an axe to grind... I'll be in the back looking for my sharpening stone.

"Do you believe in god?", is not a proper English sentence. Unless you believe that, "Do you believe in apple?", is a proper English sentence.
