I consider Sean Hannity a pathetic fool, but even *I* won't judge someone for a misplaced comma.  You can do better than THAT!

Yeah, I wasn't sure what straining OUT a gnat meant either.  Maybe finding one in your wine glass and going to great lengths to remove it with a spoon?  A dry finger works best.

Ancient people had a simple strainer, to be used for filtering liquids when decanting from the amphora to the smaller container.  Modern folks have fewer problems, though my mother used to sift flour for weavels.
