What are the latest trailers you've seen, for upcoming movies or TV shows, that left you wanting to see more?

Here are some I have just caught:

I read Dr. Strange when I was in grade school. Coolest of the comics out at the time.

If I remember right, he had a pivital role in defeating Thanos, in the Infinity Gauntlet series.

Benedict Cumberbatch seems like a great fit for the role.

That would be decades after I read them.

I love that joke at the end of the Doctor Strange trailer. Marvel movies always have great humor.
"Oh, wearisome condition of humanity,
Born under one law, to another bound;
Vainly begot, and yet forbidden vanity,
Created sick, commanded to be sound."

This might be the worst trailer I ever watched, thereby changing the thrust of this thread to "Trailer Trash".  Whoever put it together must have thought he could make an acceptable trailer by not showing any scene for more than .5 seconds, most of which comes out of the movie, but is entirely irrelevant to the movie itself.  It's a budget trailer made on the cheap... for maybe like three dollars and fifty cents.

Jane Seymour from the olden days, plays the obligatory overbearing dance instructor at some expensive academy in New York and pushes her students to greatness.  Other than that, I don't recognize any of the other actors, but they are good dancers, better than most dancers in modern dance movies.  You know the plot.  All dance movies use exactly the same plot.  There is only one dance movie plot, and rival gangs settle scores by out-dancing each other, and everything ends in a dance contest with a lot of money at stake.  How unique.  Having said that, I found this movie at Redbox and watched it last night.  I loved it.  I love dance movies.  I love the dancing.  It's so embarrassing!  I love them.

Did anyone notice, in the cgi shot at the end of the Doctor Strange trailer, where the realities are all mixed up, the way the cars are driving around the shape of the twisted city? I thought it was a nice touch.

The Infinity Gauntlet Crossover was during my latest period of comic book reading, which ended in 1993.

Very true. Tony Stark's admonition, to Black Widow and Hulk, not to be playing "Hide the Cucumber", comes to mind - Hulk being big and green, it was a funny picture. Ant Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, were both hilarious. I can't wait to see what kind of smart-ass quips they come up with for the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie from Marvel Studios.

I honestly hope not.

I was reading Doc. Strange in the early Sixties.

I'm looking forward to Dr. Strange and Legion. I've liked Legion ever since he was introduced in The New Mutants back in the 80's. I don't know how the television show will treat the character but in the comic books he is a very powerful mutant, and Charles Xavier's son, who has dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities) and each personality has a different ability. In the original story Legion had a John Wayne type personality who was telekinetic, a rebellious teenage girl personality who was pyrokinetic plus the consciousness of a terrorist who Legion, as a child, killed in self defense and who controlled his telepathy.

I recently finished the latest book from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

I remember his first appearance in the comics as well. The TV series has a lot of potential. Especially being on FX, which has produced some noteworthy programming in the past. Could be edgy.

I saw that trailer, but my immediate reaction was that it was ripping off Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. You say there's a book series, but that doesn't necessarily nullify my complaint.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Sorcery, and the supernatural, usually bore me. Although I loved The Lord of the Rings, and The Golden Compass, JK Rowlings movies never did it for me.

I totally agree. This is definitely Tim Burton's interpretation of the books. The author, Ransom Riggs, was inspired by vintage photographs and incorporates them throughout the books, so in my imagination the stories have a completely different look and feel.

I don't know the name of this actress, but in Sin City II, she was completely naked in just about every scene she was in.  I can't remember the reason she was naked.  I don't think the movie explained why, and any reason would probably be irrelevant anyway.  So now what's this?  A children's movie?  She's definitely not allowing herself to be type casted.  Good for her.
