Shoe ... American baseball didn't translate to television as well as American football did.  That and as I understand the generation prior to mine ... going to the baseball park was an Americana happening that is missed.  Pretty soon we will un-congregate around our separate I-shit and not interact with each other at all ;-(

Yeah, but which ones? Last year they used 10 different uniforms in 15 games.  The also add 2 new uniforms for their Spring game and another if they go Bowling.  As of last year Oregon could field something like 17,200 different uniforms if they mixed and matched, enough so they could wear a new uniform for every game until the year 3344.  Such is life, I guess, when Nike uses your team to try out new uniform designs and Disney allows the use of Donald Duck as a mascot.

No, I haven't.

I just started watching it, with any regularity, about 15 years ago. now, I'd be embarrassed to admit how many hours of football I watch, every week, this time of year.

I think you might enjoy it.  Maybe you could catch one of the London games, the NFL does once a season, on TV. It's a lot like chess, in a way, only a lot more physical.

I'd like to learn about baseball though, not that one.

You might find it boring. It's very slow paced, compared with most sports. I compare it to golf, although I enjoy golf a little more than baseball.

Bama is playing like they usually do which is at the level of their opponents. I'll be surprised if they hold onto the number one spot after scraping out a win over Ole Miss in a back and forth game. I'm not sure that will be a bad thing though. They seem to want it more when they aren't ranked number one. I am looking forward to two or three years from now if Hurt can stay healthy. Saban has never started a true freshman quarterback until this year. The kid is going to be really good with a couple of years of experience under his belt.

And how about Louisville? They are real this year.
