Yeah, he did bring up some good points, because god can not bless anyone without first existing. Most people here, including myself, acknowledge that saying god bless you or you're in my prayers is a silly thing for anyone to say, but we pretty much leave it at that. Brian and a couple of others went on about how it got under their skin, and how much it bothered them and how much they hated it. It just seems silly to me that some would let such a minor and well intentioned thing bother them as much as they say it bothers them.

Atheists are pretty normal as a whole, but yeah, there are plenty of regressives and sensitive atheists with very thin skin here. You have people here who will get triggered and go on a multi-page rant just because an old lady said "God bless you" to them. I don't think you can get much more thin skinned than that.

Cause/effect messed up.  Thin-skinned comes from lack of humor, not atheism ;-)
