Sounds like a good idea. Solidarity is a great way to kick bad habits. (Check out the success of the "I'm going to stop drinking" topic on these very boards)

Everyone doing it at the same time and supporting each other through it, is the best way to get it done. Religion not required for this basic psychological trick to be functional.
