Title: Any Japanese people on these forums? (talk about Korea)
Post by: bennyboy on March 01, 2013, 11:54:46 PM
I'm living in Korea, with a Korean wife.  I often hear Koreans complaining about Japan-- the lack of respect, lies and ommissions in history books, and now Takeshima/Dokdo issues.  Given that Japan occupied Korea, it's not hard to see where animosity would come from.

I'm curious if anyone can represent the Japanese position on issues like the war itself, or of comfort women, of Takeshima/Dokco, and other Korea/Japan issues?

Also, do Japanese people have similar grievances against Korea?  Like massacres pre-20th-century, political betrayals, broken treaties, etc?

Looking for facts: i.e. facts about what Japanese people really think and say, and also facts about history/politics.
