Interesting, but I have never quite understood why Christianity is an authority on ethics just because it is based on an imaginary God and Testaments that are suppose to be His Word that are so draconian and full of unethical events that He was responsible for. It's like taking your ethics from Charles Manson that said him and his followers killed people because they loved them. Solitary

In fairness, the Christian in the video doesnt appear to adhere to divine command theory, his argument is mostly trying to reconcile the OT Law with generally accepted ethical truths rather than trying to change morality to fit it

You need to be more specific with the question. Unethical in what regard? If you're referring to the slaughters and punishments commanded by God in the Old Testament, then, yes, I would say they were quite unethical.
