He seems to have his emotions under control during the interview. I suspect his outbursts are more theatrical than anything else. Yet, it does not appear to gain him much respect from his fellow law makers. I would think as a politician you would want to be taken seriously, which doesn't seem to be happening on the floor. Perhaps his constituents like it, and for reelection purposes that probably counts for a lot. I don't think Illinois is known for it's trademark crazy politicians, but small pockets of whackos in Illinois probably do occur.
