Interesting article researched by the BBC's Arabic service. They followed some Sharia court sessions in rebel held Syrian towns in the light of a growing number of reports that Sharia courts are beginning to take over and commnties are becomming fragmented.

The last section highlights the struggle that secularists are under to remain a voice (let allone a driving force) in the civil war there. As if it wheren't already obvious the secularists are losing. Regardless of what happens, they've probably already lost.
