Thoughts?
P.S.: Of course, you have enough time and health.
In what capacity exactly? Political? Economic? Philosophical? Technological?

I assume this is personal, not the usual socialist masturbation ...
I have enough to be comfortable, but not extravagant. Like I am now. I can see my future, as dying a few years from now, but at least I will be near my daughter, since she will probably survive me.
Socialist masturbation ... Magrathea. Personal planets. But I will build Earth 2 without Scandanavia, since I don't want Greta in it ;-)
Money is just how we keep score. There will always be an equivalent and it will always affect our status.
A small vineyard, a nice little Spanish villa house with the two loves of my life and an infinite supply of top-tier marijuana, my own mechanic shop for high-end cars and travelling wherever we want and whenever we want. My own fashion line would be dope too.
Probably take a late 60s Chevelle SS, a 77' Trans Am and an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale as well. That list is missing a few cars that I'm just blanking on right now though.
I would completely restore my house which is a 1910 Victorian. I would also have a nice house in Hollywood, Florida where I would go any time I want and hang out with my long distance BF. I would fund my son's education as high as he would like to take it. I would still be a nurse but work per-diem, in my same position where I work now. I would give generously to charities for Veterans, homeless people and animals. I would travel a lot both in the US and overseas. I would be in some sort of choral group.

I hope you get that, some day.

I hope you get that too. I once lived in a partially restored 1910 Victorian. That is were we lived when my daughter was born. Not so nice neighborhood.
Realistically? A beachhouse and a dog. I'd be happy with that.
But if I had (practically) unlimited resources to work with? I'd bankroll vaccine research and intentionally wipe out a ton of disease. I would utterly exterminate malaria for sure. In particular, I'd see anopheles gambiae lit up with crosses.
I would buy and destroy as much medical and student debt as I possibly could.
I would fund public works projects to overhaul US infrastructure - roads, bridges, energy, telecom/internet, etc. I would make South Korea's average connection speed look like North Korea's average connection speed.
I would buy and set aside land for nature preserves and animal sanctuaries, particularly marshland.
I would champion Ad Luna, an expedition to establish a permanent colony on the moon.
And finally, I would fund Project Hydra: cutting-edge regenerative medical research (treatments to repair and restore damaged tissues/organs) with the ultimate goal of developing technologies to restore human patients that have suffered severe and otherwise permanent harm - severe burns, lacerations, amputation, paralysis, organ failure, etc. I want disfiguring and/or debilitating injuries to go the way of the iron lung.
Oooh, and a pony. I've always wanted a pony.
I'm not the person to give large sums of money because I wouldn't appreciate it or know how to use it responsibly. My vision of the future is to maintain my current lifestyle until I die. I'm kind of like a hobbit.

Put your investment money in hair removal, hobbits have hairy feet ;-)
Beware of getting what you want ... it might be hard when you lose it ...
