I hated the premise of The Birdcage.
I liked the Producers.

saw that, it was funny. obviously just trying to do an american take on priscilla but still enjoyed it.
Couple I've seen, Big Eden, latter days, pride, bear cub, and of course brokeback mountain. Theres a few others but forgot there names.
I've seen a lot of LGBTQ movies, including independent films. I took a couple of film classes in college and made a short documentary about the evolution of male homosexuality in cinema for a class project. This was back in the '80s and I was just using two VHS recorders and a microphone. Some of the worst movies I have ever seen are LGBTQ movies... just gawdawful. Like any other genre, there are good and bad films. Some LGBTQ movies that were very effective when they were made haven't aged well because society has changed and AIDS isn't the death sentence it once was.
