The original Final Fantasy was so titled because the studio that made it wasn't doing so well, and Final Fantasy was their last shot. It was their final fantasy. Most of the games aren't set in the same universe, though. Final Fantasy X is not a sequel to Final Fantasy VII, but they're set in a different universe. They share some things in common, though, of course. Magic, Chocobo, monsters, summons, etc are repeated often, despite not sharing a continuous narrative.
But anyway... Welcome back, Dancer. I'm pretty late to this thread. I've already noticed you around. lol

Ah, that. Yes, it is my craft name.
Whoops. I keep forgetting the X in FFXIV. Anway it's MMO and there's this guy in my Free Company known as Jason Harvo.
