That is much more interesting, because finance is a rubber band, its measurement is too flexible and ambiguous.  What is a GDP?  Does it say how well we live?

I liked the first one.  It was quite informative.  The 2nd was no surprise to me.

Just shows you are more finance oriented, than people oriented ... for obvious reasons.

I think there is no real good metric for the usual suspects ... GDP, unemployment rate, inflation rate.

One guy once said ... he wanted to only hire one-arm economists.  Because otherwise they are constantly saying "on the one hand ... but on the other hand".

At the risk of being humorous, I generally say "on one paw..."  I like cats.  And the humerus is the "funny bone".  Double joke, if permitted...
