Title: First Successful Auditory Brain Stem Implant.

A 3 year old Charlotte boy, born completely deaf, has become the first person in the nation to undergo a successful auditory brain stem inplant which now allows him to hear.

Awesome! I want to see this happen for people older by, say, 20 years (assuming it can) to pick their brains for what's like to all of a sudden have this new sense that you never had. Seems like it'd be interesting for them.
