Got British Empire?  Sorry, but Third World people aren't the most progressive.  And in Identity politics (aka World War of South Hemisphere vs North Hemisphere aka Cuba Libre) they have an excuse to go all Congo on everyone.  I don't think that the First World is progressive either, they are virtue signaling genocidal maniacs.

If the current escalation between Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Israel, US and Russia continues, the human race will solve all problems shortly.

Third World people who were forcibly colonized by technically-advanced Europeans were supressed in engaging with the First World.  Japan shows how less-advanced nations can catch up given a chance.

And not that that turned out well in WWII, but the fact of Japanese engagement in First World (I hate that phrase)  technology shows that all people have the ability given the opportunity.

Yes, but don't use that as an excuse to commit crimes.  My daddy (some generations back) was suppressed by the police ... so now I get to kill cops?  Bullshit to that Hatfields vs McCoys stuff.

No, but you have the right to sue in court for a while, and possibly out them if they turn up in the White House (and who hasn't lately)?

Suing people and being sued, is a rich person's game.

Newspapers serve the same "outing" for everyone, rich or poor.

Only if you are William Randolph Hurst ... and it meets his agenda.  Today, not so much ... the newspapers were for birds to shit on, but I don't allow my parrot to shit on my PC ;-)

I just like imagining Baruch and Cavebear having a fencing match, in hot air balloons, over the derbyshire countryside.

So you celebrated un-President's day ... because George and Abraham don't matter anymore.

The whole policy of the US, since 1991, is a remake of the US policy after 1891, complete with saber rattling, colonial interventions, waterboarding (we did it in the Philippines), gunboat diplomacy ... and fake news.  A dog returns to its foreign policy vomit.
