Some of the fun statistics you will encounter on your way...

-Millennials own, on average, 300% more student debt than their parents.
-1/5 Millennials live in poverty, with that number rising.
-The estimated retirement age is at 75, which is currently in the mid-sixties and has been steadily rising for years now.
-Nearly 50% of workers with bachelor degrees are over-qualified for the job they are doing (while remember, we are 300% more indebted for that degree than our parents were)
-Average hours of minimum wage work for a "Baby Boomer" to pay off their college loans? 306. Average hours of minimum wage work for a Millennial to pay off their student debt? 4459.
-Jobs are shifting towards "contractors" rather than direct hires, the result? Up to a 40% cut in average income.

It was President Obama who promoted going to college, on credit, to please his Deep Bank masters.  All student costs could be easily paid out of Federal revenues, it isn't that big (particularly if you limit it to the top 20% of colleges).  That would have been a good move, by Messiah Obama ... too bad he was Satan.  The Catfood Commission in 2011-12?  Do what my masters want, or Grandma gets it ;-(

I hope you can manage your debt, or your parents can manage theirs, if they co-signed their real estate as collateral.

Neither a borrower nor a lender be, do not forget, stay out of debt ... hard to do I know.

Yes, it was clear, once student debt was declared non-dischargable ... that this was the next Mortgage bubble.  Indirectly, thru the parent's cosignatories.

Sorry, my generation has failed you.  Doing "Carry Forward" on our materialist lifestyle, basically put our children and grandchildren in hock.  And the "All War" foreign policy was there to catch anyone not hocking their soul to the colleges.  Naivety wasn't a virtue.

And in the end, did these students get good value for their money?
A useful degree? A good paying employment? Hell no.

What universities are churning out?

Political agitators, SJW, BLM, Antifa.
Useless degrees on "studies" that has absolutely no value in the labor market.
All that for a large sum of money, still have to be paid back for many years to come.

/rant off.

No, for once you are actually right. The global situation has turned a college degree into a very bad investment, even when we are talking about fields like business, economics, and science related fields.

Ohhhhl... and of course you find away to be wrong even when you started off right.

Politics and economics have cycles.  I am not sure that there is a "committee in charge of everything" that makes this happen, but I do think that certain parties profit by it, even goose it to their own advantages.  Sorry you are in a downer cycle.  Get a time machine, go travel to the 1930s, and virtue signal in Nazi Germany.  I am glad I am not my parent's or grandparent's generation.

Sally Mae ... goosed by Clinton.
Bankruptcy ... ended by Bush
Everyone must go to college now ... thanks Obama

See a pattern here?

I see the pattern.  Reality is a vague concept to you.
