This looks like fun! I expect to be seeing many more of these not far down the road.

All it needs is a pair of SRMs and an AC/2.

Uhh, I mean... looks great and could be useful for peaceful, civilian operations.

Too bad humans aren't peaceful.  All I see is a forklift with legs ;-)

Just what we need..people pretending to be the biggest badest fuckers on the planet running up and down your local streets destroying everything in their path and don't forget how the NRA would demand that they all be armed with multiple assault weapons for home protection..

When I first saw a mech suit in the movie Avatar, my first reaction was, "Yeah right.  That looks really practical." Suppose I wanted to run across the United States in my mech suit?  Are there enough charging stations?  And that's only the beginning of the problems.  Take my word for it.  This is just going to be another short lived fad before these things start showing up at garage sales along with exercise bikes and toaster ovens.

Like crock pots at garage sales.  Some people are so lazy .... they can't even be bothered to cook in a crock pot ;-)

Charging stations?  They run on unobtanium.

Soon we'll be able to get all the power we want from the zero-point energy that pervades the cosmos...

Well, the Alien Queen probably had a name like Ramaclicks*nog^arko (meaning "Mom").  And Ripley's name was probably "Ripley"...
