Gender fluidity. Ban all cars. Check your butthole privilege.

This is why democracy is wrong.  Tyranny of the majority over the minority.  But today, a tyranny of a minority over a majority.  Maybe all the Californites need to take drug overdoses? (sarc).  They certainly are high on something, all the time.  Canada is trying to legally enforce pronoun dictatorship.

The fetish of equality.  If the law matters, why not just declare everyone in California equal.  All one-un-gender.  Then there is no such thing as straight or homosexual or tranie or bi.  Just an un-ape making out with another un-ape.  Need for just one pronoun.  And while we are at it, make all Mexicans citizens of the independent socialist paradise of California (it was named for mythical amazon queen, how feminist is that?) .. so no more illegal aliens, you aren't illegal alien if you are already a citizen (but California needs to be independent, because it can't grant US citizenship on its own).  And politics ... there is declared to be one party ... so no more partisanship.  And like in Australia, require registration and voting, so no protest of the candidates possible.  Ban write ins and just have one candidate (vetted by Hillary Inc) for each position ... no need to have a contested election if there is one party, right?  And this makes California so much closer to their trading partner, Red China.  And of course, why not have a 1967 version of the Red Guard .. make everyone economically equal, by making everyone poor (not possible to make everyone rich).  And proper regulation ... you can't do anything without permission of the local Red cadre committee, who also dole out local justice.  Isn't Maoism fun?  And what is better than decrying Beijing for being running dogs of capitalism?

Californication can adopt a good existing national anthem ...

38 seconds into it, and he has already appealed to science, claiming that his position is the scientifically backed one, when he clearly doesn't understand science's actual position on the subject.

Sex =/= gender =/= sexuality. I don't know how many times this has to be beaten over your head before it sinks through, but there it is again.

-Sex is what bodily organs you have; a penis if you are a male, a vagina if you are female. This is easily the most straight-forward of the three concepts, but it's unfortunately something that certain people seem to think applies to gender and sexuality as well. So if you would, repeat after me: Sex is purely biological, dependent on what reproductive organs you have between your legs.

-Sexuality is who you are attracted to; straight, gay, lesbian, asexual are all sexualities because they all are describing what gender you are or aren't attracted to.

-Gender is what roles you fulfill within society; while American society has traditionally been bi-gender, when you look at other cultures you see that there can be three, four, five or more recognized genders. Examples of this are the katoey of Thailand and the hijra of India and Pakistan, or on our continent "two-spirits" of multiple Native American tribes. This is not a statement about what sex you are, it's a statement of what your perceived role, desired role and expectations from society are.

You are sharing a video that is objectively wrong; if you want to dislike people for not fitting their gender role, that is entirely within your right to be a bigot towards them. What you don't need to do is come in here, or be like this guy and make videos claiming that science backs up your bigotry, when that is completely false. You are no better than the Social "Darwinists" who claimed that science backed up their bigotry towards the "lesser races".

If you are going to be a bigot, take pride in it. Don't lie and hide behind science, and don't appeal to science like it is the be all, end all of truth. Psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology and the like are all not "science" in the test tube sense of the field, but they are just as much truth in practice as physics or biology... and psychology, sociology, anthropology and other fields of these sciences all say that is just wrong.

Pr, and anyone else interested in sex - sexuality - gender, I strongly recommend you give this video a view. It is presented in a very non-combative and succinct way, and I think it would really help you see the flaw in his opening statements at least.

Continuing my watching...

- My god, you actually believe that calling someone whoms' gender you don't agree with what they want to be called is going to spell the end of Western civilization, don't you? That, out of all the pressing issues in the world, this is the one you actually are taking the time and effort to get morally outraged about?

I don't know if that's impressing or terrifying.

- Yet again, someone who has probably never been to America telling us how our culture "really" is, and then getting angry at people who actually live in that culture saying that isn't true...

Spelling it out at the risk of being banned for flaming I suppose:

PR is a fucking coward. He obsesses over Muslims, leftists, and this time trannies. To him western civilization is this fragile thing that must be protected at all points from the onslaught of brutish minorities. This is despite the fact that western culture has steamrolled over history for the past 6 or so centuries. I selected a scene from The Wizard of Oz wherein the protagonists are traveling through a spooky forest and start stating their fears out loud. It is found out that their fears are unfounded because the lion himself is a coward.

I agree with you about "the right's substitute for reason".  Everytime I listen to some rightest's arguments, I go all, "you have GOT to be joking".  But they aren't.

One said that molesting a 14 year girl was like "Mary marrying older Joseph and they created Jesus, so what could be wrong with that?

Most Alabama voters said "better Moore than a Democrat".  And the Democrat is not exactly progressive and would have been the choice there 20 years ago.

Let the Republicans elect Moore and die on his cross of insanity and bigotry...

Nah, I'll wait for the movie.  Well, surely there will be a great movie about the 2 Dems who should have been President.  Gore and Clinton.

And if THEY ran as a team (in either order) I would vote for them against Trump.  In fact, I would vote for them against Bill.  But not against Obama.

There can be false allegations of sexual misconduct.  There can be true ones.  In each case only the individuals know the truth.  And most are not subject to legal consequences.  But in most cases, it ISN'T about legal court cases but an accumulation of ME TOO.  That matters.

What are the costs?  For an individual, not get elected to public office.  Or staying in one.  For the public, the assurance that elected officials are clear of past bad behavior.

Optimistic in the sense that crimes will catch up to one and be displayed in public sometimes.  Pessimist in that not enough do.  Practical in the sense that punishments can happen beyond the Statute of limitations, sad that most won't.

Pleased that some very public examples have been made and may affect present and future...

Leftists are simply anti-social, because they are dysfunctional malcontents.  People I can pity, but not take political direction from.

So of course pedophiles are oppressed, most of us recognize that they are antisocial, dysfunctional malcontents, who harm children.  They are not a protected political class who hopefully will vote for party X.

I regret that there is something to what your video suggested.  But replacing for "white" for "black" doesn't work perfectly.  The downtrodden (from whatever cause) need some assistance in catching up financially, educationally, and politically.

I don't mean giveaways; I mean opportunities.  Let's make sure that black communities get the same quality of local schools that white ones do, because they ARE different.  Let's make sure they get equal chances in employment, because they don't currently.  Let's get our systems working equally for all.

Another good post.  Hope this means you are feeling well.  Us old folks don't have too many good days.

You mistake ad hominem for expressed personal opinion.  I am careful to differentiate the two.  You don't seem to catch that, do you?

Saying ... X is a moron is ad hominem.  Saying people are apes ... is Darwin.

If X is annoyingly stupid about their posts, it is rational to say so...

YOU brought up the ape reference today I will note...

So are you feline or ungulate?  Primate ... thought so.  And to a Brite like you, all posts, other than yours perhaps? ... may seem stupid and annoying.

Great Ape and proud of it.  Top of the food chain AND a generalist is a good place to be for the long term...

Just read something in Scientific American that suggested we humans are BOTH generalists and specifics, adaptable to either requirement.  That would actually explain a lot of our success.

German college students were into sword fencing, hence the scar on the cheek as a sign of being a good sport.  But the cigarette holder is FDR.

Scars:

Forehead from running into an old coil-type radiator chasing my cousin.

Forehead from slamming my sled down the serious hill and hitting a big tree.

Thigh from stepping UP into my arrow while crossing a fence.

Belly from Appendectomy.

Belly from hernia at age 18 months.

Pencil lead from asshole who stabbed me in 5th grade class.

Nah, no scars here., LOL..

Well, I guess I did, but they mostly seem like failures to me.  Every wound is something I did wrong.

That's not a monocle, it's an eye patch.

Good observation.  Monocles are just bad glasses; eyepatches are forever not seeing.  Ask Elle in Kill Bill 2...
