Title: Yo!
Post by: NikoS on October 14, 2017, 05:07:12 AM
Hey guys.
I am Sarang, from India. I am a Hindu by birth. But, when I became older and gained new knowledge about science, I lost my belief and became an atheist. I am also a communist. My nation is getting stabbed by 'hindutva'(fake hindus) forces. And, they are gaining support by bringing illiterate hindus under one umbrella of religion and terming all others who oppose this motion as anti-nationals. I hope I can get better view on atheism and leftist values from this forum and use it against them, by enlightening people here. [emoji4]

That's all right.
I just need some valuable information and methods which can be used for breaking the shackles of religious beliefs.

Hey howdy hey. Welcome to the forums. I'm a little confused by your wording, though. Do you hope to enlighten us? If so, with what?

Do not equate atheism and communism.  The latter is a political ideology, the other is an explicitly-stated lack of religious belief...

A clean definition.  Can I define Nazi as only German, only between 1933 and 1945?  A clear definition.  But is it true?

There is a difference between causation and correlation.  That is what you are referring to.  Atheism doesn't cause communism ... or does it?  Communism doesn't cause atheism ... or does it?  Or more likely, are they correlates to a prior condition.  And since everything is psychology, to a prior mental condition?

Ah, another Trumpism.  "Or does it".

So ... causation or correlation ...
All men are Nazis ...
All Whites are Nazis ...
All White men are Nazis ...
All Catholics are Nazis, but maybe only if they are devout ...
All White supremacists are Nazis ....

Seems like the logic of the SJW types.  Their litany of R-wing demonization.

How about .. Hitler was insane, and some insane people (not all) are Nazis?

Sh .. you are making sense!  Both Mussolini and Hitler were Catholic.  So was JFK a Nazi?

Makes sweeping generalization, cries foul when the same generalization is turned on them

Generalizations ... not cricket, even if you aren't British.  So your pot calling my kettle, black?

Not causation or correlation.  All of Europe was generally christian.  That a dictator would use that is no great surprise.  And Japan wasn't.

Hitler WAS insane.  Possibly from his agony with mustard gas in WWI and possibly from bitterness at his lack of success in German society between the wars.

W Europe was Christian.  They follow the EU religion now, but will be following the Muslim faith later.

An false assumption on your part.  And not a very likely one.  You are like the US christian fanatics who think half the country is under sharia law already.

No ... we will all be Hispanic surnamed and Roman Catholic, not like W Europe at all.  But then I have never disliked Mexicans ... I have my complicated reasons for that.  Sorry, your atheist fantasy won't happen, as it is the result of sociopathic tendencies ... acculturating includes accepting the religion, politics and culture of the people you are raised by and among.  Those who are defective (relative to the average) will always be a minority, they are not a trend.  However, if there is a plan to bring one billion new people into Europe ... who are not from there ... then it will change, and they won't be choosing liberalism nor atheism.

I expressed no atheist fantasy.  Merely 2 things.  First, that we humans are all so interconnected that "race" will eventually disappear and we will all be some light shade of tan one day.  And 2nd that religion will fade away as "the gods of the gaps" disappear to the point that even the children of the last theists accept the factual universe.

And aside from all that, Ah, Pachebal's Canon in my speakers...

Well, you are right about Pachebal's Canon at least ... but it can be as boring as Bolero.  Good elevator music ;-)

So ... when are you appearing as "Man Of the Future" at Tomorrowland?  Won't the bear costume scare the children?

1.  I reserve Bolero for the French old guard marching into battle at Waterloo.

2.  I undress the bearskin for halloween.  Wait, that doesn't sound good..................................
