Political cartoons are much more effective when they reflect reality.

Political cartoons about politics not applicable to you aren't funny.

Actually, political cartoons usually aren't funny.

Then post one you enjoy instead of cluttering the thread with off topic posts (as in no cartoon).

Many think it rude to speak in a foreign language among guests.

Google translate of 'cartoon':

a Belgian in five risk of poverty

hmm... surprising comment from someone involved in the arts.

Eye of the beholder...  There are tons of trump cartoons I think are funny but fully expected others to counter-post.

Silly me... group think and all...

There is no reality, and you don't have a reflection, Count Dracula!

Fine, *I feel* Like political cartoons usually ain't funny. Better? ;)
Something always comes across as forced, to me. Like they are trying too hard. Desperate to be funny, if you will.
And I think you'd have a hard time finding many Posts of mine in Dutch. Still, lingua franca rules, fair enough. Yet on occasion a different language can be appropriate. Such as illustrating the point of foreign jokes about said foreign culture being foreign to others.

Edit: P.S Your translation is close enough: "One Belgian in five at risk of poverty."

You can always right click on an internet-image, choose to copy the adres, paste it in your post and then select it followed by pressing THE little mona Lisa. That works if you want to copy an online image.

A Christian, a Moslem, and a Jew are locked in a bare room, each holding a knife.  They circle each other warily and with hatred.  Suddenly an atheist is thrust into the room.  They all raise their knives at him screaming "kill the infidel"!

OK, so I couldn't actually DRAW it...

I can remember hearing that song for the first time in first grade at our xmas recital thing.. Some other kid was singing, 'i saw mommy kissing Santa Clause...' and thinking, 'That's because your mom's a WHORE! My mom would only kiss my dad!'
Funny I can still remember thinking that. I'm not sure the the term whore came to mind, but it was along those lines. I was 6 years old at the time.

Phone is duplicating things strangely..

I couldn't find a merkel sings carols to unhappy citizens type of cartoon so I settled for that one.
